1. Track your lost Android smartphone with Google Android Device Manager!!



First of all what you require

Requirements

  • Your device is connected with your Google Email account

  • Your device has access to the internet(most important)

  • Allowed Android Device Manager (ADM) to locate your smartphone location (turned on by default).

  • Allowed ADM to lock your device and erase its data (turned off by default).This can changed in the Google Settings app.

Android Device Manager is a Google’s official and easy-to-use tool to track your Android smartphone or tablet. The best thing about it is that you don’t need to install any tracking app to be able to track your smartphone. . All you need to do is visit the Android Device Manager while being logged into your Google Account.



Steps To Follow!!



  1. Visit Android Device Manager.

  2. Then Sign In with your Google Account That is linked with your smartphone.

  3. you will see al list of smartphone which are linked with your google account.

  2. Voila!! you have recovered your smartphone location..


 Google has recently updated the android device manager in which google has implemented some of ADM’s features into their results page. That means that you are able to analyze  your device location. Any registered Android smartphone right from their results. By using the search sentence “where is my phone”, Google displays a little map above the search results which is same as shown in below image in which it will try to find your smartphone. Once found, you can let it ring for 5 minutes by clicking on “Ring” at the left side.

  1.  First Of all click on recover.

  2. they will asked to login with google account which linked with your smartphone

4. Use Google Maps Location History – now called ‘Timeline’ – to track your lost Android phone (even if it’s turned off)



Requirements:

  • Your device is connected with your Gmail account.

  • Your device ace access to your net.

  • Location Reporting and Location History need to be activated on your smartphone (it can be done in the Google Settings ).

Update: Google completely overhauled the userinterface  of its Location History tool, including giving it a osm name  Your Timeline. The main thing of Timeline is to help you keep a track of  records of the place you visited. Now, Your Timeline actually shows you the place of names you had taken a  visit  (e.g. airports, cafes, bars …). 

However, it is also a good way to locate your lost android smartphone.

steps to follow:-

  1. Go to  Your Timeline (google maps)

  2. Make sure the current day is selected in the calendar.

  3. On the left sidebar, you can see a complete timeline of that day including the names of all recorded locations.

  4. now you"re done!!
